Meet the Team

Liz Emmanuel

Liz is a qualified nurse with over 20 years of experience supporting children and young people with complex care needs, including Emotional and Behavioural Disorders (EBD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and learning disabilities.

Throughout my career, I have worked closely with the Integrated Care Board (ICB) to assess and plan for the individual needs of children, ensuring they receive personalised, high-quality support. This has given me a deep understanding of the challenges faced by families and local authorities when seeking appropriate placements.

Having seen the shortage of suitable children’s homes for children with EBD, I founded Gemsville Health Care to bridge this gap. My vision is to deliver safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environments where children are empowered to thrive — meeting their immediate needs while supporting their long-term growth, wellbeing, and future opportunities.
